Greetings Fellow Flycasters and Interested Public,

Welcome back to the 2010-11 Blue Mountain Flycasters' "Let's get together and talk fly fishing season".

Please mark your calendars for the next meeting of the Blue Mountain Flycasters* (FFF).

John Dadoly and Bob Wolfe will give a short presentation on local still water caddis flies. What they are, where they are, and how to imitate them to catch trout will be discussed.

Following the presentation there will be a roundtable discussion of this summer’s fishing adventures and planning for Fall BMFC Let’s Go Fishing events.

The Federation of Fly Fly Fishers (FFF) was formed by a group of fly fisher out of Eugene, Oregon in the early 1960's.
The concept for this organization was formed while this same group was steelhead fishing on the Grande Ronde River near Troy, Oregon.
Today the FFF is an international group of fly fishers with headquarters in Livingston, MT.
May of '07 the Blue Mountain Flycasters had the President of the Oregon Council of the Federation of Fly Fishers -
Tony Brauner as our featured speaker on the background, and future direction of FFF in Oregon.

Most of our meetings are instructional and sharing, discussing the ways and means of the last fishing trip's success as a group or individually.
We hope everyone leaves our meetings with more insight into the joy of fly fishing.
We must also mention that each meeting comes with it's own sweet treats and a pot of fresh brewed decaf coffee.

Our 10th Anniversary celebration brought us together with fly fishing author/editor Dave Hughes
and Oregon FFF Council President Tilda Runner on 21 February 2009.
